Housekeeping and Maintenance positions at Spotless.

From time to time we have vacancies in our housekeeping and maintenance departments. The vacancies are generally two, three, four or five day per week positions and sometimes extra work is available to supplement these positions. Most of the positions include permanent weekend work and payment is on a two weekly cycle. Experience is desired but we will offer training.

We offer two types of Room attendant position both of which are highly flexible and can be designed to fit in and around school times or other commitments. One is employed and one is self employed. There are advantages and disadvantages to each which will be explained to you in detail at any time during the application process. Starting and finishing times will vary and we pay piece rates which are regularly assessed to ensure that they are realistic. The work entails cleaning of a number of hotel rooms to a high standard, vacuuming, bed making and replenishing guest supplies. In addition, every day you will be asked to complete a different small job of the day.

Maintenance positions involve a basic level of manual skill including painting and use of tools. Work times are similar to those above.
